AgVentures! open to public during 2006 World Ag Expo
TULARE, CA: The new, world-class, interactive, agricultural learning center, AgVentures!, will be open for 2006 World Ag Expo attendees to experience at the Heritage Complex, located on the International Agri-Center grounds.
AgVentures! is the newly remodeled learning center, with 15 custom-designed, professionally built interactive agriculture-based exhibits.
“AgVentures! is designed for an unforgettable adventure in agriculture,” said Erin Machado, AgVentures! project coordinator.
The learning center, used for educational purposes throughout the year, offers visitors a chance to learn about life sciences, farming and agriculture technology. AgVentures! is designed to be split into three sections: “Local Look,” “Going Global,” and “Valley View.” “Local Look” is the only completed zone, with the other two zones set to be completed after the 2006 World Ag Expo.
Expo attendees are also invited to tour the Antique Farm Equipment Museum, adjacent to AgVentures!, and get a glimpse of the progression in agriculture equipment and technology.
Hours for AgVentures! and the Antique Farm Equipment Museum will run consecutively with World Ag Expo, Feb. 14-16: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday. For more information on the World Ag Expo, visit www.farmshow.org or call (800) 999-9186.
